We at Grass Court Sports have the experience necessary to help you with your selection.
These are the criteria for selecting the appropriate tennis racquet that fits your play style:
- Brand
- Head Size
- Length
- Swing
- Speed
- Beam width
- Balance
- Weigh
When you describe to us your type of play style, we are able to set you on the right track for the selection of your new racquet. Of course, you will always have the final say on your selection. The criteria listed above can be viewed in detail at our Gear Guide. Here are a few extra tips on how to avoid a bad purchase:
1. Avoid Unscrupulous Sellers
Some sellers will list items that are not what they say they are. Not all people who are selling tennis racquets are trustworthy, but not all of them are fraudulent either. How can you tell? Since you can not easily infer which business people are legitimate and which are not, it is better to just be on the safe side and buy from sellers everyone trusts.
2. Buy from Trusted Sellers
As with feedback, you want to buy from a seller who has been in the business for a long time and has had many, positive transactions. Look for sellers who have had more than 250 transactions. You can see the number of transaction from their feedback section. If possible, try to also check and see what type of feedback they receive.
3. Read the Feedback
Counterfeit tennis racquet makers are getting better and better at their game. In order to avoid buying a racquet that is an inferior copy posing as the real thing, read the comments of previous buyers. Buyers who have been conned will most certainly complain and leave negative feedback. If there’s anything you can trust when checking a seller’s rep, it’s the positive and negative comments people leave.
